Contract

 

Both parties agree that the following conditions will be met.

 

The Seller Guarantees: 

• This is a purebred Golden Retriever, offspring of the approved Sire and Dam. 

• This dog to be free of communicable diseases as appears to the eye at the time of sale.

• 1 year health guarantee (which covers hereditary or genetic life threatening diseases) is invoked if the puppy is positively evaluated by a veterinarian within 72 hours after pickup. Vet records are required to initiate the guarantee. As this is the case we recommend all to purchasers to make veterinary appointments prior to picking up their puppy.

• In the case of a negative evaluation (within the said 72 hour time period ), with a diagnosis that is clearly attributed to the seller, this dog may be returned for a refund of the full purchase amount or for another puppy of equal value. However due to proper breeding practices, a replacement puppy could take up to 1 year. Refund is only valid with vet records and a written diagnosis from a veterinarian. Records will then be reviewed and the diagnosis confirmed by the seller's vet. This guarantee is VOID if puppy is bred before it reaches 12 months of age.

The seller CANNOT guarantee adult size, color, fitness, or temperament.

 

 

The Buyer: 

• Promises to keep the dog in an appropriate manner.  

• At the expense of the buyer this dog is to be examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of possession to validate Health Guarantee. 

• Agrees that this contract and health guarantee is for the person buying the puppy. It is null and VOID if transferred to another person.

• Releases the seller, Golden Oaks Farm, and their estate from any and all liabilities, or damages caused by this dog after the time of sale. 

• Promises not to surrender dog before contacting the seller.

This contract is null and void if all terms and conditions are not met. no other agreement, expressed or implied, is valid.

 

 

 

 

Health Guarantee 

All puppies sold by Golden Oaks Farm have had their first round of shots and deworming, as well as a full physical conducted by a veterinarian and are guaranteed to be in good health when they leave our farm. Records for the aforementioned will be given to the buyer with their puppy.  

This puppy comes with a one-year guarantee against death due to any genetic disorder. In case of death, a necropsy, at the expense of the buyer, that states the cause of death will be required before a replacement puppy or a refund can be made. No puppy will be replaced that fails to have the proper veterinary care, has not received all required vaccinations, or has not maintained a healthy weight according to the AKC guidelines. Due to wanting to properly breed our dogs, a replacement puppy can take up to 1 year. We will not pay vet bills under any circumstances.
